Meet the Entest BioMedical Management Team David R. Koos, PhD, DBA - Chairman and CEO, Secretary, Acting CFO Feng Lin, MD, PhD – Director of Research Dr. Feng Lin has a strong background in drug/DNA in vivo delivery, oncology and tumor immunotherapy, cell and molecular biology, and animal model work. He also has extensive experience with tissue imaging, and stem cell differentiation. Previously, Dr. Lin was a Senior Research Scientist, Research & Development with Inovio BC, San Diego and Postdoctoral Fellow in the Burnham Institute for Medical Research, La Jolla. He received his M.D. from Central South University Xiangya School of Medicine, Changsha, China, along with a M.S. Biochemistry & Molecular Biology and a Ph.D. Hematology & Physiology from the same institution. Dr. Lin's research work has been widely published in international scientific journals. Marilyn Panahi – Director of Quality Assurance MS. Panahi brings more than 15 years experience in the implementation and management of the EPA's Good Laboratory Practice Standards (GLPS) Compliance Monitoring Program and the FDA's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)/Quality Systems Regulation.Previously, Ms. Panahi was Quality Manager, Therapheresis, Inc., San Diego. Ms. Panahi is a graduate of San Diego State University with a B.S. in Microbiology. Ms. Panahi also holds a Certificate in Science of Regulatory Affairs for the Drug and Biologic Industry and a Certificate in Quality Assurance/Control for the Drug and Biologic Industry, both from the University of California at San Diego. Corinne Knutson — Director of Grant Development Ms. Knutson has more than five years of experience writing grant proposals and reports for nonprofit organizations and small business concerns involved in cutting-edge research and development. Knutson has a Bachelors Degree in Journalism from the University of Hawaii and a Certificate in Grant Management & Administration from California State University. Previous grant writing experience encompasses drafting and submitting grant proposals and reports for clients seeking funding from organizations including the Tiffany & Co. Foundation, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Fish and Wildlife Foundation (NFWF), the David & Lucile Packard Foundation, and the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. Currently, Ms. Knutson is assisting Entest BioMedical in securing grant funding from various governmental agencies, foundations and other organizations to develop its research projects and move towards commercialization of products. Dessimira Ivanova – Director of Project Development Ms. Ivanova has been involved with project development for the past six years, specializing in biotechnology related R & D projects. She has worked with faculty and technology transfer licensing officers at various institutions including the University of California – San Diego. In addition to her experience in coordinating research and development programs, Ms. Ivanova has an MBA from San Diego State University where she specialized in International Business. Currently, she is assisting Entest BioMedical in developing its research model for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD).
